The new Jeep GC Trailhawk has made its launch into the Australian market place with a price tag of $74K. The Trail Ready Trailhawk has a 3.0 Litre turbo-diesel V6 accompanied by an impressive eight speed automatic transmission for a smooth ride. One of the main goals behind the Trailhawk was to ensure it was 'Track Ready' straight off the factory floor. So what exactly have they done to make this model Track Ready? For starters they have increased the overall Ride height, included some all-terrain tyres and underbody protection. The increased ride height will provide extra clearance and help improve articulation where the standard models have somewhat struggled in this regard. The overall Ride Height now sits 63mm Higher than the standard GC and when extended to its maximum height sits at 273mm off the terrafirma. The underbody protection consists of four steel underbody protection plates accompanied with additional side rail protection. These added features in itself will instill confidence to the driver when taking the Trailhawk off the beaten track. The Trailhawk has a stunning interior with leather and suede seats with gun metal finish on all of the painted parts.
