1000 Second Generation Mazda BT-50's have been issued for recall sold between October 31, 2011 and December 3, 2012. The report stipulates that there could possibly be an intermittent fault with the Output Shaft Speed Sensor. What problem does this create you ask? Well it can cause an annoying unexpected downshift in first gear. Not Ideal. For a full list of effected BT-50 vehicles please click here. Mazda will be sending out letters to all of the owners that are effected by the Recall. Or alternatively you can call your local Mazda Dealership and query if your Mazda is on the list.
