NEWS - Toyota Launches new LandCruiser 200 Series Altitude

Toyota has announced the release of its newest Special edition  200 Series Landcruiser Altitude. The Altitude is powered by the Japanese brand's 200kw/650Nm 4.5 Litre twin turno diesel engine that is accompanied with a smooth six speed auto transmission.

Toyota are releasing 600 units of the limited edition Altitude that will sell for $93460 plus on-roads.

The special edition Altitude includes a vast amount of upgrades set to improve safety, comfort and convenience.  Tony Cramb, Toyota's director of sales said “Comprehensive upgrades make the Altitude the ideal choice for those who aspire to a vehicle that delivers an even more luxurious and desirable package.”

On the outside, The altitude has LED fog lights, rain-sensing wipers identifying badges and roof rails. On the interior, there are brushed alloy-look trim pieces, chrome-edges air vents and an interactive instrumental panel display that can be controlled via the switches mounted on the steering wheel.

Black paint is a no-cost option, while premium white, silver, graphite and blue colours are an additional $550. Standard GXL specification including 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry and ignition, dual-zone climate control, 6.1-inch touchscreen satellite navigation, six-speaker audio with DAB+ digital radio, seven airbags, and a reversing camera all remain for the Altitude.

Safety kit carries over from the GXL with seven airbags, a reversing camera, hill-start assist and trailer sway control.

 The interior also has electronically adjusted front leather seats and a refrigerated cool box. A nice touch.
