Product Review - Adventure Kings 4x4 Awning

4x4 Awnings are becoming increasingly popular among recreational 4x4 drivers. They are a great addition to any setup providing instant shelter from the elements. They are quick and easy to set up and pack down.

If your in the market for an awning you would have come across the Adventure King Range.

They have a total of four Awnings on Offer:
 - 3 Models with 2 Metre width extending to 2, 2.5 & 3 Metres out.
 - 2.5 metre extra wide model that is also 2.5 metres long.

Overall the awnings are very similar to the other options out on the market. The base is Made from rigid lightweight extruded Aluminium that attaches to your roof rack via L brackets. The base seems to be rigid and solid enough even after a solid day of 4x4 on rocky tracks.

The awning itself is a medium gauge 'ripstop' canvas that unrolls to be propped up by telescopic aluminum round poles. Be sure to keep the canvas as dry as possible to improve the longevity of the awning.
