VISIT - Swan Gully 4X4 Park - QLD

If you live in Brisbane and need a 4X4 Fix and don't feel like traveling for several hundreds of km's then you have to check out the Swan Gully 4X4 Park. Located about an hour and a half from Brisbane the Swan Gully Park is home to 900 acres of pristine camping and 4WD Tracks. Ideal for day trips and overnight stays, pets are welcome if well behaved.

Swan Gully caters for all skill levels from the novice through to the advanced. It is a great place to learn as Driver Training is provided at the park. All of the tracks difficulties are rated, which gives drivers a chance to make an informed decision.

The tracks themselves are rather steep, rutted and loose so you are bound to lose traction frequently. Using a spotter will provide a significant advantage to choosing the ideal line to conquer the track you have chosen. As we have mentioned in our Tips & Tricks always ensure your vehicle is in ship shape before attempting the trip.

When you have finished the tracks for the day you will find well maintained and clear campsites to settle in for the night. Always keep your campsite clean for the next person to enjoy.

There is a more upmarket option being the 'glamping tents' currently in the pipeline. They will have solid timber floors and soft beds that are ideal after a big day on the tracks.
